Superb Miniature Portrait in a Red Jeweled Picture Frame This painting dates to the 1800's, it is signed and it's painted on a thin disk. I would have to say that this portrait is breath taking. This fine lady is as you can see....

The detail of her face and her clothing is spectacular. When you examine the face you will see it is so detailed so realistic. The eyes are so well done, The beautifully painted red lips , The creamy white complection and natural looking make-up on the eyes and checks. I want to point out that the dress detail is really something. A burgandy color dress all adorned and a ruffled neckline. The gold jewels & beads draping across the bust, and the jeweled beading on gold netting across the chest and shoulder area. The burgundy material is also embroidered with gold flowers on stems with leaves. On the top of the flowers there is a tiny French knot or maybe its a small jewel. She is wearing a vial and lace hat with a jeweled gold crown on top. The beautiful ruffed neck is fabulous. Way in the background you can see a castle to the left side of the frame. The frame is a made of a lightweight metal. It has a easel stand in the back to sit on a table and.... A loop at the back top to hang on a wall CONDITION OF THE PAINTING: Excellent, no problems, no marks, no tears There is one picture that had a line near the face... That is just from the camera... Condition of the frame: Very good antique condition It has its domed glass and none of the stones are missing. It is very ornate and it is made of a very light weight metal. All the teeth prongs on the back are still there.

Unless of course a mistake was made, such as missing something important that should have been pointed out. Other wise the return is void or partial return in some cases.

Packing: I take pride in my packing.... I use a roomy sturdy box with plenty of packing materials, I double box unless its not needed. I pack so that you will have a easy time of unwrapping your item.
