Extremely rare, Father of Country Music, JIMMIE RODGERS signed 8 x 10 photo. This has been framed and was displayed in the "Honky Tonk Hall of Fame" exhibit years ago of famed music historian, Stephen Shutts. I acquired this years ago and had it in my collection. Of course, Jimmie Rodgers was one of the first inductees in the Country Music Hall of Fame. Also is a dual member, belonging to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Considered the "Father of Country Music" and died at a young age in 1933. It has been signed by an old ink fountain pen on the dark area of the photo.

I photographed the photo in the sunlight to show the autograph better. You can clearing see the indentation of the pen.

The frame has nail holes where it was displayed in an exhibit. I've compared it to other examples and it looks dead on.

Keep in mind, in normal light, tough to see the autograph unless a light is shown on it. It would be perfect to display with a light fixture to turn off or on when you want to look at it. The backing was removed years ago to verify it's an old photo, which it is the photo itself is worth something as its an original 1930's studio photo.
