He was an exceptional Artist and was admitted to the Manchester School of Art, becoming a well-known artist his works where exhibited in Paris with artists such as Picasso and Dali. His works are colourful and erotic and in the early days where displayed in London. Wilde became a well-known artist and was wildly collected.
He is known as'David Wilde, Manchester's Hidden Artist' (in Chris Kirwan's book of the same name,) because due to Wilde's determination in later life to expose various secret societies.
